Dynamic '80's dance duo Fankick contacted me to help them concept and create promotionals and other branded pieces to help strengthen their presence both online and offline. We worked closely together to create brand imagery, photography, dance videos, and an online presence that closely reflected their image and overall presentation.

These videos were greatly inspired by horrifyingly amateurish karaoke videos of the early 1980's. The first time I saw one, projected on a cheesy screen in a cheesy Thai karaoke restaurant in Seattle, I knew I had to make one. I ended up making two. Since the whole esthetic is based on essentially zero production value, it was fairly easy to emulate this with my canon GL2 and a crappy photo tripod.

For the editing, I requisitioned the not inconsiderable talents of WorldFamous. They attacked, and with their usual cadre of inspiration and gumption, edited these two fine pieces.
